Dover Athletic have dropped to seventh in the Blue Square Bet South following a 3-0 defeat by leaders Woking.

Dale Binns, Jack King and Elvis Hammond's goals inflicted Dover's first home league defeat under Nicky Forster.

Forster told 91热爆 Radio Kent: "They were worthy winners and we have got to pick ourselves up.

"It's one defeat, I expect us to keep pushing and try to get into the play-offs. I'm not going to write anything off at this stage."

Meanwhile Forster joined chairman Jim Parmenter in remaining silent on speculation linking him with the vacant job at League Two Northampton Town, after one bookmaker put him joint-favourite to replace Gary Johnson.

Parmenter was not prepared to give any comment on the subject and Forster said: "Nor will I, none at all."

Welling United remain second in the table, three points behind Woking, after Lee Clarke's two first-half goals gave them a 2-0 win over Boreham Wood.

Tonbridge Angels failed to record a fourth straight victory as they were beaten 2-0 away to Cornish side Truro City.

Dartford lost a 2-0 lead against 10 men to draw 2-2 with Eastleigh leaving them fourth in the table.

Bromley suffered a 6-1 defeat away to Chelmsford City.

Elsewhere Kent's top goal scorer Kewsi Appiah scored his 22nd of the season in the last minute of Margate's 2-1 win over Kingstonian in the Ryman Premier Division.

Maidstone are still top of Ryman South despite a 1-1 draw with Merstham and Herne Bay, Tunbridge Wells and VCD Athletic reached the third round of the FA Vase.
