Burnley sign Wolves striker Sam Vokes
Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sam Vokes has joined Championship side Burnley on loan until 15 January.
The 22-year-old Wales international, signed by Wolves from Bournemouth in May 2008, is making his fifth loan move away from Molineux.
Vokes has hit nine goals in 59 appearances for Wolves, the majority of which have been from the bench.
He is expected to make his debut in Saturday's home game against Leeds United, one of his former loan clubs.
Vokes scored once in 10 appearances during a two-month stay at Elland Road two years ago.
The 6ft target man has enjoyed little more than an hour of Premier League action for Mick McCarthy's Wolves this season.
But he made a successful foray from the bench for Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium last Saturday, doubling his tally for his country with two goals in a 4-1 win.
Burnley manager Eddie Howe, whose side stand 18th in the Championship, played with Vokes in their days together at Bournemouth.
