Ipswich Town boss quiet on Billy Sharp move
Ipswich Town boss Paul Jewell has distanced himself from reports that he is set to make an .
and they will line up against Town on Saturday.
"They're both good players and we're always looking to improve our squad," he told .
"But I don't think it's right for us to comment on other teams' players."
Earlier in the year Rovers chairman John Ryan rejected a double approach from Ipswich - a 拢2.3m offer for Sharp and 拢300,000 for 30-year-old Coppinger.
"It's well documented we bid for the two of them," Jewell continued. "We couldn't prise them away because the chairman didn't want to sell them.
"They put money on their heads that we thought was silly. So we never discussed terms with the players.
"They're Doncaster Rovers players and they're fully committed to Doncaster."
Meanwhile, Jewell could be without five first-team players when Doncaster make the trip to Portman Road.
Midfielder Lee Bowyer (back) and defenders Ibrahima Sonko (hamstring and tonsillitis) and Damien Delaney (foot stress fracture) are definitely sidelined.
Strikers Nathan Ellington (calf) and Daryl Murphy (hamstring) are also doubts.
