Gainsborough's Steve Housham praises hard-fought win

Gainsborough Trinity caretaker-manager Steve Housham was pleased by his side's work rate in their 1-0 win at Nuneaton.

Andrew Boyce's early header was enough to earn the Blues a fourth successive victory in Blue Square Bet North.

Housham told 91热爆 Lincolnshire: "It was hard but we've won four out of four and this is a difficult place to come to.

"This was about being professional and disciplined. We could have been a bit more forceful to get a second goal but our work rate was fantastic."

Ryan Kendall, Jamie Yates and Leon Mettam all had chances to extend Trinity's lead while Lee Moore had an effort for the home side ruled out for offside.

Housham, who has been in temporary charge since the sacking of Brian Little, added: "The lads came in a little disappointed afterwards because we know we can play better, but it pleases me that they come in disappointed, knowing they could have made it easier."
