Wolves ask about Celtic's Hooper as QPR drop interest

Queens Park Rangers have dropped their initial interest in Celtic's Gary Hooper but Wolves have also enquired about the availability of the striker.
The Englishman scored 22 goals last season after joining the Glasgow club for 拢2.4m from Scunthorpe.
Meanwhile, Blackburn, Stoke and Sunderland have all turned down the chance to sign Hooper's team-mate Georgios Samaras.
The Greece international previously played for Manchester City.
Stokes has often partnered Hooper in the Celtic attack and is keen for his team-mate to remain in Glasgow.
"You see at the weekend two goals again [against St Mirren]," said Stokes.
"He's a top, top player. I have no doubt one day he could play at the very top level but we want to keep him here as long as possible."
Celtic completed the signing of Mohamed Bangura on Tuesday, the Sierra Leone player joining on a four-year deal from AIK Stockholm for an undisclosed fee.
"It's good competition for places now, we really want to push on and go for the title this year," added Stokes.
"The more players in the more competition but it's good for the club."
Another forward, Shaun Maloney, is in the process of joining Wigan , which would bring an end to the Scotland international's second spell at Celtic.
