Carlisle United sign Middlesbrough striker Lee Miller
League One side Carlisle United have signed striker Lee Miller from Middlesbrough on a two-year deal.
The 28-year-old, who joins for an undisclosed fee, made just 18 appearances for the Teessiders since he moved from Aberdeen in February 2010.
Born in Lanark, he began his career at Falkirk and impressed enough to earn a 拢300,000 move to Bristol City in 2003.
Spells at Hearts and Dundee United followed before a move to Aberdeen, where he earned three Scotland caps.
Miller scored 42 goals in more than 150 appearances for the Dons and his form prompted a move to the Riverside under then Boro boss Gordon Strachan.
But since Strachan's departure Miller has found first-team opportunities limited.
In addition to a brace of outings for Boro last season, the striker also had spells on loan at Notts County and Scunthorpe, netting three goals in a combined 27 games, but has figured just once this term in Boro's Carling Cup win at Walsall earlier in the month.
