Leeds United made Tamas Priskin U-turn, says Paul Jewell
Leeds United have pulled out of a deal to take Tamas Priskin on loan, according to Ipswich boss Paul Jewell.
The 25-year-old Hungary international was sent out to Swansea last season, but had the spell cut short by injury.
His last Town appearance came in a 3-0 defeat by Watford in March, and he netted five Championship goals in total throughout the campaign.
"Tamas was lined up to go to Leeds and at the 11th hour they changed their mind," Jewell told .
"It's disappointing for Tamas and disappointing for us, it would have given him games and put him in the shop window."
Jewell added: "There's one or two of our squad who will be available [to leave]."
