Leeds United sign Wolves forward Andy Keogh on loan

Leeds United have brought in Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Andy Keogh on loan until January.

The 25-year-old began his career in the Leeds academy but made just one appearance before joining Scunthorpe.

With Leeds hit by injuries and suspensions, Keogh is expected to start in Tuesday's visit of Hull City.

"He's got plenty of experience, having played a lot at this level and in the Premier League."

"He is also returning to the club where he started his career so he knows what it's like here and understands the place."

Keogh made one Carling Cup appearance for Leeds against Portsmouth before being sold to the Iron the following year by then-manager Kevin Blackwell.

He had loan spells at Cardiff City and Bristol City last season and has a career total 53 goals in 198 starts.

Grayson is without the suspended Max Gradel and Jonny Howson as well as Luciano Becchio, Davide Somma and Billy Paynter - all injured - for the visit of Hull in the Championship on Tuesday.

United have also taken Finland international Mikael Forssell on trial.
