Middlesbrough sign Belgium midfielder Faris Haroun
Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Belgium international midfielder Faris Haroun on a three-year contract, following a successful trial.
The 25-year-old, who previously played in the Belgian league for Germinal Beerschot, will be available for the visit of Birmingham City on Saturday.
"It's good to get the deal completed. Faris has looked good in training," boss Tony Mowbray said.
"He's fit and athletic, has a love of the game and is full of enthusiasm."
Haroun, who was born in Brussels, featured for Belgium at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and has made 91 league appearances for Beerschot from since joining the club from Racing Genk in 2008.
