Brendan Rodgers has conceded Swansea City are unlikely to sign long-term target, Northern Ireland international goalkeeper Lee Camp.

Nottingham Forest have rejected numerous bids for Camp as the Premier League newcomers seek a replacement for the departed .

Rodgers has signed but the Swans boss wants more keeper cover.

"It something that at this stage would probably look highly unlikely to happen," Rodgers told 91热爆 Sport.

"We've submitted a number of bids and they have all been rejected."

Forest boss Steve McClaren had and the Welsh club's pursuit of the 26-year-old seems to have ended.

But German goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel is on trial at Swansea and the 32-year-old, who was regular for Austrian side FC Red Bull Salzburg last season, is set to play in their pre-season friendly fixtures this week.

The Swans host Scottish side Celtic on Wednesday and Spanish team Real Betis on Saturday and Rodgers seems likely to give Tremmel a chance.

"The idea was he trained with us for a few days on our tour to Austria and he showed up pretty well," said Rodgers.

"I've told Gerrard I want a further look at him and he will be involved in some games over the forthcoming week. Then we'll make a decision at the end of the week."
