Food kiosks, the PA system, television screens and toilets are to renovated.
Chief operating officer Ali Russell said: "Ibrox is a traditional, elite football stadium.
"We have worked throughout the summer to upgrade a number of key areas with the intention of enhancing the matchday experience for our supporters."
and improvements have already been made to the Govan Stand.
Rangers say many of the new developments are being put in place in response to supporters' feedback, including permanent tributes to the club's founders and victims of the 1971 Ibrox disaster.
"Rangers supporters deserve a winning team on the park and a top class environment to enjoy their football and we aim to deliver both in season 2011/12 and beyond."
