Mansfield Town have signed former Cheltenham Town centre-half Martin Riley on a one-year deal.

Ex-Wolves trainee Riley and made 29 starts last season but was released in the summer.

The 24-year-old said: "I wanted to sign for a team with ambition and that is exactly what we seem to have here.

"I'm aiming to be flying fit by the first game of the season and am looking forward to the pre-season games."
