Luton Town winger Charlie Henry to miss season start

Luton Town winger Charlie Henry is set to miss the start of the Blue Square Bet Premier season because of injury.

The 24-year-old has not featured since joining from Newport in November, having suffered a foot problem.

"The lad's in good spirits but I don't think he'll be back in the foreseeable future," boss Gary Brabin told 91热爆 Three Counties Radio.

Brabin added he has made little progress in trying to bring in Grimsby striker Alan Connell.

The Hatters had tabled an offer for last season's 29-goal frontman which .

Brabin said: "We've spoken to clubs but unfortunately the players we're going for people don't want to let go.

"That shows the type of quality we're going for at the moment.

Defenders Fred Murray and Ed Asafu-Adjaye are set to agree new deals with the Kenilworth Road club.

Both players have travelled with the squad to their training camp in Inverclyde, Scotland.

"It's just a case of dotting the i's and crossing the t's," said Brabin.
