MK Dons sign Dean Bowditch from Yeovil Town
MK Dons have signed striker Dean Bowditch on a two-year deal after he rejected a new contract at Yeovil.
After joining the Glovers from Ipswich in the summer of 2009, the 25-year-old went on to score 25 goals in 75 games.
"I looked at the club's ambitions and it was everything I was looking for," he told .
"The stadium impressed me when I played here and the club has a very talented squad, so I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead of me."
Last season was Bowditch's most fruitful in front of goal. In 41 League One games he found the net 15 times, including a strike at Stadium MK in .
An Ipswich youth product, he made his Town debut in a 2-0 win over East Anglian rivals Norwich in March 2003.
His career at Portman Road took in 85 appearances, 35 of them starts, with nine goals, as well as loan spells at Burnley, Wycombe, Brighton, Northampton and Brentford.
"I'm delighted to have a player of Dean's quality in our squad," said Dons boss Karl Robinson on his first signing of the summer.
"He's a very gifted footballer, a great athlete and a proven goal scorer in League One with a club that was fighting relegation."
