Swindon's Elliot Benyon makes Wycombe loan switch
Wycombe have finalised a deal to sign Swindon striker Elliot Benyon on a season-long loan.
The 23-year-old made the switch to the County Ground from Torquay in January but has scored just once - on his debut - in 12 games.
Before leaving the Gulls he found the net in a 3-1 win over the Chairboys at Adams Park in November.
"He's a hard-working striker who possesses great movement," Wycombe boss Gary Waddock told the club website.
"You only have to look at the Torquay game at home last season to know what a good player he is.
"He's a local lad with the drive to succeed here. He's a good addition the group."
Benyon found the net 46 in times 144 games during his three-and-a-half years with Torquay.
He was part of the side that won promotion from the Blue Square Bet Premier in 2009 and went on to notch 11 League Two goals in the subsequent campaign.
"It's always been an ambition of mine to play for Wycombe and I can't wait to get started," he said.
