Gareth McAuley and David Norris leave Ipswich Town
Ipswich Town duo Gareth McAuley and David Norris have rejected new deals and are set to leave the club.
Defender McAuley, 31, and midfielder Norris, 30, have been regular performers for Town, playing 98 games between them this season.
"I spoke to them Monday morning and I think Gareth met a Premier League manager last week," boss Paul Jewell told 91热爆 Radio Suffolk.
"David Norris has got a couple of options open to him."
He added: "We made them both offers that we thought were fair but the players are in their rights to do what they see is best for their families."
Northern Ireland international McAuley arrived at Ipswich from Leicester three years ago and has gone on to make 127 appearances.
Norris, a 拢2m capture from Plymouth in January 2008, has featured 118 times for the Suffolk side.
It was announced earlier that goalkeeper Brian Murphy had also turned down the offer of new terms and will depart Portman Road.
But fellow shot-stopper Arran Lee-Barrett has penned a two-year deal with defender Troy Brown and midfielder Colin Healy, who is undergoing treatment for a hernia, expected to sign one-year extensions.
The club has also confirmed youngsters Jack Ainsley, Jamie Griffiths, Tom Eastman and Conor Hourihane have all been offered six month deals but midfielder David Cawley has been released.
Murphy, 28, after a shot spell as Town's first-choice shot-stopper, but since recovering the Irishman has failed to play under Jewell.
But Healy has played 13 of his 22 games this season since the former Wigan boss arrived in January, and Lee-Barrett's seven appearances this term have all come courtesy of Jewell.
Meanwhile 91热爆 Radio Suffolk understands that Jewell has started re-shaping his backroom staff with goalkeeping coach James Holman, fitness coach Simon Thadani and reserve team coach Chris Kiwomya all set to leave the club.
