Tommy Doherty's Bradford City contract cancelled
Bradford City midfielder Tommy Doherty has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The 32-year-old former Northern Ireland international joined the Bantams on a two-year contract last July.
But the ex-QPR and Wycombe player, who has not featured since 28 December, will now leave the club immediately.
Doherty made 21 appearances during his time with the League Two club, who host Crewe in their final game of the season on Saturday.
A statement on the club website said: "Bradford City would like to thank Tommy for all his efforts during his time at the club and wish him all the best for the future."
The former Bristol City player had spent five months in Hungary with Ferencvaros prior to signing for the Bantams on a free transfer.
