Histon have transfer embargo lifted
Histon have announced their 11-week transfer embargo imposed following a VAT dispute has been lifted.
The Stutes were placed under the embargo in January when HM Revenue & Customs raised concerns over a tax return submitted by the club in 2009.
The Blue Square Bet Premier outfit say they have now resolved the issue with HMRC.
It means the club can now try and sign loan players until the Conference deadline of 1700 GMT on Friday.
David Livermore's side are currently bottom of the league, 10 points adrift of safety, after suffering a five-point penalty for "submitting misleading financial information" to the Football Conference in January.
