Barnet re-appoint Martin Allen as manager
Barnet have re-appointed Martin Allen as manager of the League Two strugglers until the end of the season.
The 45-year-old last managed the Bees eight years ago when they were a Conference side.
Barnet lie second from bottom after Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat by Aldershot, with eight games remaining.
"We will support Martin in his efforts to turn things around and bring in any new players."
Allen was previously assistant to Peter Shreeves at Underhill in 2002 before succeeding him the following year and forming a side that challenged for the play-offs.
He stayed in the role for 12 months before departing to when Paul Fairclough took over and led the Bees to promotion to the Football League.
The ex-Leicester and MK Dons boss now replaces Fairclough who was installed as caretaker manager following the on New Year's Day.
