Trent Boult: Injured New Zealand bowler ruled out of England tour
New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult has been ruled out of the rest of their tour of England with a back injury.
The 25-year-old was left out for the third one-day international at Southampton on Sunday to have a scan, but the Black Caps have now confirmed he will fly home for further tests.
Boult, who has 46 one-day wickets for New Zealand, is their third frontline bowler to leave the tour injured.
All-rounder Corey Anderson and fast bowler have both flown home.
Captain Brendon McCullum said: "It's a huge blow to be without Trent Boult, it's tough for him to be struck down with injury."
Left-arm seamer Ben Wheeler, 23, who was called up to the squad as a replacement for Milne, made his ODI debut at the Ageas Bowl.
