Worcestershire v Kent: Rain disrupts play at New Road
Only 7.4 overs were able to be played between Worcestershire and Kent on a day where rain severely disrupted proceedings at New Road.
The poor weather conditions meant the Division Two game's third day's play was delayed until the evening session.
The hosts were resuming 111 behind on 213-7, and, when they finally came out, Tom Fell (75 not out) continued to shine with Jack Shantry (30 not out).
But rain forced an early abandonment, with Worcestershire closing on 241-7.
Kent's bowlers had been hoping to finish off the hosts and push on for victory, but the draw now appears inevitable.
