Dirk Nannes injury blow for Glamorgan's T20 hopes
Glamorgan's hopes of bringing in Australian bowler Dirk Nannes for their 2013 Twenty20 campaign have been dashed by a back injury.
The left-arm seamer suffered a stress fracture playing for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
Glamorgan announced 37-year-old Nannes signing in March.
They will now assess talent in the ICC Champions Trophy, including Australia, West Indies, India, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Pakistan.
That competition starts on 30 May when Pakistan face Sri Lanka at Edgbaston, where the final also takes place on 23 June.
Nannes would have been Glamorgan's second overseas player in the competition.
He hoped to join fellow Australian Marcus North, with the latter also leading Glamorgan in the T20 and 40-over competitions.
