Glamorgan and Northants had to settle for a draw after rain washed out the final day's play of their Division Two clash in Cardiff.

The visitors had gone into the fourth day in a winning position after reducing the hosts to 96-4 in their second innings.

Glamorgan needed a further 62 to avoid an innings defeat but bad light and then rain saved the Welsh county.

Northants took eight points from the game to Glamorgan's six.
