Kent: Jimmy Adams extends contract until end of 2014
Kent head coach Jimmy Adams has extended his contract with the club until the end of the 2014 season.
The former West Indies captain joined the club last January and led the side to third place in Division Two.
"I am extremely pleased that the county has seen fit to extend my contract to 2014," the 45-year-old said.
"I look forward to this continued involvement and, with it, the opportunity to work with an exciting and talented group of players."
Graham Johnson, Kent's chairman of cricket, added: "We are absolutely delighted with Jimmy's further commitment to Kent.
"Last year was very encouraging and he took the role with a desire to create something sustainable at Kent.
"It's great that we can now plan with him to build on his first year over the next two seasons."
