Leicestershire v Kent: Nash century puts visitors on top

Brendan Nash scored a century to leave promotion-chasing Kent well placed on day one against Leicestershire.

Nash reached three figures late on the opening day and will resume on 108 not out on Wednesday.

Kent, fourth in Division Two, ended on 322-6 after Rob Key (68) and Sam Northeast (52) put on 110 for the opening wicket.

Geraint Jones (52) fell in the last ball of the day, one of four wickets for Leicestershire's Robert Taylor.
