Yorkshire v Gloucestershire: Steve Patterson sparks collapse

Yorkshire's bowlers rose to the occasion at Scarborough by dismissing Gloucestershire for just 215 to boost their side's promotion prospects.

Steve Patterson (3-35) produced an inspired new-ball spell to leave the visitors reeling on 9-4.

Will Gidman led a recovery with 47 and Jack Taylor hit 49 but Moin Ashraf and Azeem Rafiq also took three wickets to bring the innings to an early end.

Yorkshire lost two cheap wickets in reply, but reached 61-2 at the close.
