Somerset v Warwickshire: Only 10.4 overs possible on day one
Only 10.4 overs were possible as Warwickshire made 27-1 on the first day of their match with Somerset.
Rain delayed the start until 11:45 BST and Somerset captain Alfonso Thomas put the visitors into bat.
Varun Chopra and Ian Westwood put on 27 for the first wicket for the league leaders, before the latter was caught by Jos Buttler off Peter Trego for 10.
With rain already falling, play was halted with the visitors on 27-1 and abandoned for the day at 16:25 BST.
Chopra will resume on Thursday morning unbeaten on 17.
Both sides are playing with understrength sides. The hosts are without Steve Kirby and Adam Dibble through injury, while George Dockrell and twins Craig and Jamie Overton are away on Under-19 international duty.
Warwickshire are without Ian Bell, Jonathan Trott and and Will Porterfield because of international commitments.
