Hampshire v Yorkshire: Bad weather hits opening day
The opening day of Hampshire against Yorkshire in the County Championship was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to the bad weather.
Hampshire captain Jimmy Adams won the toss and put Yorkshire into bat, but the first of two thunderstorms meant play would not start on time.
The rain relented in the afternoon but, just as hopes were raised of a 16:30 BST start, torrential rain returned.
Umpires Nigel Cowley and George Sharp then called play off for the day.
