Dimitri Mascarenhas set for Hampshire return
Hampshire all-rounder Dimi Mascarenhas could return to the side for the County Championship clash with Glamorgan starting on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old has missed the start of the season playing for the Punjab Kings Eleven in the Indian Premier League.
But they have now been knocked out of the competition, paving the way for Mascarenhas to return to Hampshire.
"Dimi texted me as soon as they lost to say he would be on his way home," Hants manager Giles White told 91热爆 Solent.
Former England international Mascarenhas will be returning to a side which has drawn their last two championship matches.
"He is very keen to play some cricket, he's been on the fringes over there for some time now," added White.
