Yorkshire left wanting more rain as Nash moves to 132

Kent's Brendan Nash moved on to an unbeaten 132 on a rain-hit third day in his side's clash with Yorkshire.

Only eight overs and five balls were bowled at Canterbury before Saturday's play was abandoned due to the weather.

Beginning the day on 316-6, Kent reached 350-9, England's Tim Bresnan claiming two of the three wickets.

Bresnan dismissed James Tredwell and bowled Matt Coles, who was out for a first-ball duck the day after he was called up into the England Lions squad.

Nash, who had started day three on 114, added a further 18 runs before being frustrated by the rain.

Rain caused the final day in each of the eight County Championship matches to be abandoned without a ball being bowled. As a result, all eight games ended in draws.
