Sussex's James Anyon hinders Worcestershire
James Anyon took four wickets for Sussex as they bowled Worcestershire out for 290 on day one at Horsham.
Worcesterhire hit early trouble when Anyon (4-71) removed Matt Pardoe and Monty Panesar (3-75) dismissed Vikram Solanki - both for ducks.
That left them on 6-2 but Daryl Mitchell (66), Moeen Ali (71), and Aneesh Kapil (54) fought back.
But Worcestershire then collapsed from 244-4, before Sussex reached 16-0 at the close.
That was disappointing for the visitors but would not have taken the gloss off the day for 18-year-old Kapil who was making his debut in the four-day game.
