Carl Frampton to fight in Belfast in October
Belfast super-bantamweight Carl Frampton will make his return to the ring in his home city in October.
A venue, date and opponent have yet to be confirmed although a possible fight with Scott Quigg has been ruled out.
Frampton's manager Barry McGuigan said the choice of opponent depends on the outcome of Kiko Martinez's next bout.
Frampton was forced to pull out of his IBF inter-continental title defence against Everth Briceno in London last month because of an ear injury.
The 26-year-old's last outing was a win over Martinez at Belfast's Odyssey Arena in February.
The fight against Briceno was set to be his first appearance with promoter Frank Warren after parting from Eddie Hearn's Matchroom firm.
Frampton's four-fight deal with the BoxNation channel was scheduled to start with the Briceno contest and a possible fight for a world title in the third bout of the contract.
