Carl Frampton set for change of opponent for London fight
Carl Frampton is on the lookout for a new opponent for his proposed fight at Wembley Arena on 20 July.
The Belfast boxer was scheduled to defend his IBF Inter-Continental title against Fabian Orozco.
Orozco will now not be able to take part in the contest after being stopped on Saturday night by Julian Aristule in a bout for the IBF latino title.
The Argentinian will now not be allowed to fight for 30 days, so has been ruled out of the proposed Wembley fight.
Frampton's last fight was a win over Kiko Martinez at the Odyssey Arena in February.
The July date is set to be his first appearance with promoter Frank Warren after parting company with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom firm.
Frampton has signed a four-fight deal on the Box Nation channel, starting with the London contest next month, and hopes to contest a world title as early as the third fight.
