Swansea fear they could lose star player Michu at the end of the season even though the 26-year-old forward has signed a new contract until 2016.

Striker Carlos Tevez, 28, will be allowed to leave Manchester City as the Premier League champions plan a massive summer clear-out. Edin Dzeko, Samir Nasri, Joleon Lescott, Scott Sinclair, Aleksandar Kolarov and Maicon could all leave the club.

The sale of Mario Balotelli to AC Milan will allow Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini to sign a big-name striker in the summer - with Napoli's Edinson Cavani, Atletico Madrid's Radamel Falcao and Liverpool's Luis Suarez his main targets.

Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, 25, will join Manchester United in a 拢9m move this summer - but current United keeper David de Gea will stay at the club.

Kaka will stay with Real Madrid until at least June after the 30-year-old failed to find a move in the transfer window. The midfielder's 25m euro (拢22m) price tag put off buyers AC Milan and LA Galaxy.

Tottenham will move for Braga's 25-year-old forward Eder - if they miss out on striker Leandro Damiao, 23, of Internacional, who they were chasing in January.

Barcelona striker David Villa, 31, wants a 拢14m summer move to Arsenal after deciding to quit the Nou Camp.

But Arsenal are not going to pursue Villa in the summer - Arsene Wenger has indicated he will look for younger options after missing out on Spain striker in January.

Paris Saint-Germain's Qatari owners hope to use their connection with new signing David Beckham to purchase an American soccer franchise. Beckham is understood to favour the option of buying a 25% stake in his old club LA Galaxy.

Interim Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez has told his players he expects to stay at Stamford Bridge next season in an attempt to raise morale.

Liverpool defender Martin Kelly, 22, has stunned the club by demanding 拢45,000 a week to stay at Anfield.

Paolo Di Canio is being considered for the vacant managers' post at Huddersfield Town, after he said this week he may quit at Swindon. The Terriers will turn to him if they fail in their bid to get ex-Southampton manager Nigel Adkins.
