The Denial Factor Who are The Denial Factor?Rosie Keating - Bass/Lead Vocals Where in Somerset are you from?Near Yeovil When did you form?2007 How did you get together?Rosie and Charlie are sisters, and had been in different bands together previously, but then Charlie met Hannah at college and things just clicked. How would you describe your music?All female alt. punk with a tight, high energy sound. How did the band gets its name?We were just writing down all the names we liked the sound of...and this one seemed to stick. Who are your musical influences?Placebo, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Buzzcocks, Ramones...pretty much everything we listen to influences us in some way. What is your most memorable gig so far?Probably our most memorable gig has to be a show we played at the Orange Box in Yeovil with The Computers and Hearts Under Fire, the other bands were amazing, it was pretty packed and everyone was just having fun! Or our first ever gig on the back of a broken trailer in the freezing cold...! Where would you most like to play?Glastonbury festival would be amazing, or Reading festival. Finally, tell us some interesting facts about yourselfWe love Sonny the Seal, naan bread and rainbow drops :) Hannah is a pro beatboxer, and always wins at mario kart.
