As the countdown begins to this year's Red Nose day on Friday 13 March 2009,听91热爆 Somerset would like your help to break the Guinness World Record for the number of jokes told in an hour.

The current record is held by the Australian comic Anthony Lehmann who in May 2005 told 549.

Now听the North Somerset-based comedian and Beano writer Kev F Sutherland is going to attempt to beat that record with your help as we urge you to send in your best jokes to help him.

Record

The 91热爆 is delivering all the jokes to Kev on Wednesday 4 March 2009 so that he has a week to learn them.

The record attempt will take place in front of an invited audience at the Barton Hill Settlement in Bristol.

The organisation receives funding from Comic Relief to organise multicultural events to help improve and increase social cohesion in the area.听听

Terms and conditions听

1. You can submit as many jokes as you like to be used in our attempt at the world record.
2. Jokes should be original, 'clean', non-offensive, not defamatory and suitable for broadcast and publication in any media.
3. By submitting jokes you give the 91热爆 the right to broadcast and publish them in any media for any purpose throughout the world as it thinks fit.
4. The 91热爆 does not guarantee to use every joke submitted.
5. Jokes can be any length.
6. The 91热爆 may publish the names of the people sending in any of the jokes if it so wishes.
