We are all friends at school and Owen asked Alex if he wanted to play guitar in a band - Alex said yes. Then Thom was asked - he said yes. Then Rosie was asked - she said yes. How would you describe your music?
Like emocore... A mix between My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Funeral For a Friend, Hawthorne Heights and Drop Dead, Gorgeous. How did the band gets its name? Ha ha, well... Alex comes up with them all the time, and he wrote a load down while the band was called By the Book right at the start. We all wanted a new one, so we chose A Bleeding Thought. Who are your musical influences? There are loads... My Chemical Romance, Evanescence, Arctic Monkeys, Hawthorne Heights, Funeral For a Friend, Fall Out Boy, and Taking Back Sunday. What is your most memorable gig so far? Um... we've had like four gigs. So far, the last gig at school has to be the best - everybody was singing to all of our songs 'cause we've literally only just started playing our own material. It was mental! The gig organiser had to stop a wall of death, 'cause we were the first 'heavy' band on. Where would you most like to play? Anywhere! We love playing gigs and to be honest there aren't that many around. I think the Mean Fiddler or Southampton Joiners would be pretty cool. Finally, tell us some interesting facts about yourself - Alex and Thom are best friends.
