Where in Somerset are you from?

Mr Bojangles' Moustache

Minehead

When did you form?

2005

How did you get together?

We all met through our college.

The band was originally established by Jake and Liam and was going to be a kind of blues band.

Eventually, Sam, Tom and Joseph joined and we turned into a rock 'n' roll band!

How would you describe your music?

Mr Bojangles' Moustache

It is a fresh style, with influences that stretch from The Rolling Stones to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Basically, we take influences from the past and put our modern-rock styles on top of that.

How did the band gets its name?

Oooooooooh, a very long story.

Nobody is really sure. Essentially, it was a moment of madness! But anyway, MOUSTACHE!

Who are your musical influences?

Mr Bojangles' Moustache

Queen, The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, AC/DC, Muse, Bowie and Led Zeppelin.

What is your most memorable gig so far?

All of them really! We have had a great response in our local area.

The crowds are also beginning to sing along to our music, it's great!

We are just about to play in some other venues around the UK - we are really looking forward to it!

Where would you most like to play?

Mr Bojangles' Moustache

Glastonbury, Wembley, Brixton Academy, Knebworth, Le Zenneth, the USA, oh and on a beach in Rio de Janiero!

Finally, tell us some interesting facts about yourself

Since we have been together, we have recorded and released an album completely independently. It is called The Barbershop Years.

It has been made totally by the band members, all the way down to the production and the mixing!

We have been in Chris Moyles' top 24 on MySpace for nine weeks!
