Hear Acker talk about his life and career, as well as his hobby as a painter, and his music. "The good thing aboutÌýjazz is that although you may play the same number a few times, you perform it differently at every gig," he said. "I look at my clarinet sometimes and I think, I wonder what's going to come out of there tonight? You never know."

As Acker is actually a Somerset term which means friend or mate, Jo quizzed him on how well he knows his friends. "Unless there's a mental or physical problem, I'm going to carry on as long as I can."
