Who are Dark Sunday? Adam Shelly on guitar and vocals, Ben McDermott on bass and backing vocals, and James Blacker on drums Where in Somerset are you from? Wells When did you form? In 2004 How did you get together? We formed in September of 2004 with another guitarist called Rob Linturn and a vocalist called Sersh. Then Adam joined the band at our first gig and it went from there. We played our second real gig with another local band called Deadfish, but with Adam on vocals. Since then, Rob also left - and here you are, Dark Sunday. How would you describe your music? A weird mix of old school British punk and old Black Sabbath-inspired rock. How did the band gets its name? In the pub! A friend called Richard Turner came up with the name. Who are your musical influences? There are too many to actually list. What is your most memorable gig so far? Battle of the Bands at the EMI Club in Wells on 16 September, 2005. Where would you most like to play?
