In 1998 How did you get together? Les and Mat met through their day job, and Tony's wife worked with them -Ìý that was how Tony became part of the original threesome. Ruth teaches guitar to Tony's children and she was the next to sign up. Hugh's children also learn guitar and hence he got swallowed up by the band. How would you describe your music? Mainly early 60s covers of pop and rock 'n' roll. A few late 60s and early 70s numbers have also crept in, due to requests from audiences. How did the band gets its name? The age profile of the band is predominantly around the 50 mark. The music we play was chart-topping in our early years, hence My Generation. Who are your musical influences? The Beatles have to be our number one influence, closely followed by The Searchers, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Hollies and The Shadows. What is your most memorable gig so far?

The most memorable was a 50th birthday celebration for a young lady in Dorset. The crowd started dancing with the first number we played and were still going right to the end. A really enjoyable gig. Where would you most like to play? Wherever people can come and enjoy themselves, dancing to the songs we play, recapturing their youth and remembering those good old days.
