The Casuals are an indie/rock band who met at college, and got their name from a shop in Taunton. Find out more about them.


Who are The Casuals?

Ali Warren on lead vocals, guitar, and songwriting; Josh Mosley on lead guitar; George Atherton on lead guitar, Simon Rawlins on bass; and Charlie Southwell on drums.

September 2004

How did you get together?

We are on a popular music course at Richard Huish College, and were put together as part of this course.

How would you describe your music?

Indie/rock

How did the band gets its name?

From a shop in Taunton

Who are your musical influences?

Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, and Tracy Chapman

What is your most memorable gig so far?

Richard Huish College Rockfest - we played in front of 500 people.

Where would you most like to play?

Glastonbury Festival, on the Pyramid Stage!

Finally, tell us some interesting facts about yourself

We have played about 20 gigs since we formed in September 2004. We entered the Glastonbury Festival unsigned artists competition.

i thought they were rubbish, not only do they share the same band name as many other bands they lack "stage presence and power"
