Not
many of you know that this young man was spotted by director
Karan Johar whilst wandering in his office with a friend.
The
result of this unplanned meeting landed him a small role in
Karan’s magnum opus, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, which
ended up to be the biggest Bollywood box office grosser in

Imran Khan to act in Bollywood film, I
|
When he returned to UK, Imran participated in many UK and
European events.
But
with the growth of Bollywood interest in the UK, Imran decided
to make his mark on the UK stage.
It
was not long, before he was chosen by Sohail Khan for a role
in his forthcoming film 'I'.
Produced
by Sohail Khan, ‘I’ revolves around an Indian who comes to
the UK and experiences racial tension first hand in London’s
East End.
After
getting caught up in culture clashes, he unites with Asians
from all across Asia to fight against one common cause - racism.
Producer Sohail, recently completed the shooting of ‘I’ in
a 40 day start to finish schedule in London with director
Puneet Sira.
The
film stars Sohail, newcomer Hina, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Aasif
Sheikh and our very own, Imran Ali Khan from London.

film, ‘I’ is slated for a January 2004 release.
‘Ideally,
I’d be delighted if the film hits the screens on January 26,
2004 which is Republic Day, since it talks of national integration,’
says Sohail.
