On directing Gem of the Ocean
Paulette Randall is one of our leading female theatre directors.ÌýUntil recently the Artistic Director at Talawa Theatre Company, the UK 's best known black theatre company, she is currently directing Gem of the Ocean - the centrepiece of a new African-American season at the Tricycle Theatre in London. Gem of the Ocean tells the story of the African-American experience throughout the 20th Century.
