Women campaign for breast cancer drug

The cancer drug Herceptin has been available for the treatment of advanced breast cancer since 1998 but in May results of research on its efficacy for primary breast cancer stunned the medical world.

It's thought it could reduce the risk of developing terminal cancer by fifty percent if it's given to women in time. But the drug isn't yet licensed for primary breast cancerÌýand it could be at least a year before it's available on the NHS.

We speak to the women campaigning to get herceptin to try and ensure their own cancer doesn't become terminal.
