why was so little known of theÌýmusic of this accomplished English composer?

Composer and violinist, Rebecca Clarke was a contemporary of Vaughan Williams and Holst butÌýit is only in the last 20 years since her death that her work is being rediscovered.

To mark the 25th anniversary of her death this week, her work is being performed along with those of other women composers at St James' Piccadilly on Saturday.

Fiona ClampinÌýmeets her niece Becky Evans andÌýher biographer Liane CurtisÌýto findÌýmore about Rebecca's life and why so little was know about her work.
