Is it time to offer emergency-style screening?

Sexual health experts say Britain is heading towards a public health crisis as the spread of sexual disease becomes an epidemic. ÌýChlamydia rates are up by 141% since 1996 and other sexual diseases are also on the increase.ÌýÌý

Experts are now calling for a 48-hour emergency-style screening programme, instead of the usual four to six week wait for an appointment with a doctor or nurse.
