No-one could forget the report from Ethiopia filed by the 91Èȱ¬'s Michael Buerk in 1984 in which he told the story of the famine destroying the East African country. He also talked about the people who were trying to help.
One of them was Claire Bertschinger a member of the International Red Cross. She was working at an emergency feeding station where 85,000 people were in the final stages of starvation. It was her responsibility to decide which people to help and which to turn away.
Claire joins Martha to tell me what it was like to choose those who would live and how she feels Ethiopia has changed twenty years on.
