Ìý From Cradle to Grave Monday 3 November 2003 Ìý
Today a new gallery opens at the British Museum dedicated to exploring the challenges we face in life and how they're dealt across the world.

The first exhibition is called Living and Dying and looks at the different ways we think about causes and symptoms and the strategies we use to cope with sickness and death.
At the centre of the show is a newly commissioned work, From Cradle to Grave, which sets out the number of pills the average man and woman in the UK take during their lifetime.
Sharmini Selvarajah went along to the exhibition where she spoke to its creators, artists Susie Freeman and David Critchley and GP Liz Lee.
