Recent surveys of both school and university-aged young people shows increasing unhappiness - but how easy is it to assess? And why are young people distressed?
Issues around finance, student loans, exam pressure, peer pressure, concerns about unhappy or ill parents, class, increasing numbers of students at universities, race, and gender are all identified as major stresses.
Adrienne Katz of the charity Young Voice and Dr Ravi Rana, former Senior Counsellor at University College London, join Jenni to discuss how stress affects young people.
